The Colors of War

First in the Of Knights and Heroes series. In this epic fantasy war novel, you follow military surgeon Steven, a hermit and recluse who has chosen a self-made exile after his wife’s death. His old military friend, Commander Nassaw, has learned of a mysterious force that has arrived in the south. He gathers what forces he can, and askes his old friend for one last campaign. Steven meets a young boy on the campaign. Initially he doesn’t like the boy, but soon this strange young boy earns his respect. On the campaign, brave knights Audi, Max, and Doug fight the invading force. Audi, a veteran of the Order of the Kingdoms, is stationed in Awop. He is a skilled fighter and a gallant leader. Max and Doug were stationed in the south when the enemy first came, and they came north to alert their comrades. The city of Divide stands alone, with the Empire to the east, the Alliance to the north, and to the south an invading army. They muster together and unite people from all corners of the United Kingdom to join forces and drive out the invaders.
